Client Situation:

Eriez asked Stevens Strategic to take over all aspects of production for its global employee newsletter from writing to graphics. While the newsletter is distributed digitally at first, it must be printed in black and white for Eriez’ retirees who still prefer it that way. Less than 60% of the employees read the newsletter, when it was monthly publication.

Tactics:

Stevens Strategic brought social media connections to the newsletter as well as monitoring. SSC upgraded the graphics to encourage readership. The overall concept is to feature up to three global affiliates, top management and the top stories of the quarter. Anniversaries and promotions are a set feature of each issue.

Results:

According to Eriez, more than 80% of their employee base worldwide now reads the newsletter in whole or part. More retirees are reading it online.
