AmTrust North America Video Storytelling

Client Situation:

AmTrust North America specializes in writing workers’ compensation insurance and commercial package coverage for small to mid-sized “Main Street” businesses. They are one of the largest commercial insurance carriers in the United States. They take pride in developing customized products that tailor to their specific customer’s needs. So that the independent agents who sell their products fully understand how these new programs work, AmTrust asked Stevens Strategic Communications to develop a series of videos explaining them.

Tactics:

Taking relatively complex insurance products and making them easy to understand can be a challenge. SSC suggested using a technique incorporating simple illustrations and hand-written words. This gave the videos an entertainment value, while making them easy for agents to understand and digest.

Results:

The agents found the videos very educational and helpful in recommending new products to customers.
